HERETIC / HERMIT

The 5/2 Profile combines the Heretic with the Hermit.

The fifth line carries projection.

Other people may look at you and see someone who has the answer, can solve the problem or can step in and make something work.

Sometimes they are seeing something real in you.

Sometimes they are projecting what they hope or need you to be.

This can create strong expectations.

The second line underneath carries natural gifts.

There may be things you simply know how to do without always understanding how you know.

But the second line also needs retreat.

Space matters.

Time alone matters.

You may not always recognise your own gifts until somebody else calls them out.

This creates an interesting tension.

Part of you wants to be left alone.

Meanwhile, other people may be looking towards you for something they believe you can provide.

Not every call is correct.

Not every projection belongs to you.

When the call is correct, your natural gifts can become deeply useful to other people.

When it is not, trying to fulfil someone else's expectation can lead to misunderstanding or disappointment.
